These are my flatplans of my possible magazine covers. They all involve main images, titles in the same location and coverlines. In the first one 'Volume' the title takes up the majority of the page, but has images of music notes across the page. This cover isnt the most inspiring cover as there isnt any images to attract the reader. The 2nd one 'Tune Up' is a bit more reader friendly with an image of a well known pop artist in the centre of the page with the title above him and surrounded by coverlines. This would attract more readers as it has a image of a well known artist. The 3rd cover 'Shuffle' is more of an iconic front cover as it has images of a band in action. This could make the reader think that they have recently performed and would want to read the reviews about it. With the artist in action, the audience will be more interested in reading the magazine.
Contents Pages
These are my flatplans of contents pages. They both are again similarly styled but are different in layout. In the 1st one 'Shuffle' the articles are presented in chronological order and with one in the middle being the lead article. Also the masthead is located above the articles but below the title. In the 2nd flatplan the articles are in non-chronological order with the main articles or most interesting articles in the magazine spread over 1 page. There is also a text box with the other articles in from the magazine in chronological order and decending down the box.
Double Page Spread
This is my flatplan of my double page spread. The subheading is in a banner over the two pages and also the main image crosses over the two pages. The remaining of the pages are covered in text about the relative article. Also a little masthead is situated in the top corners of each page.
